OLEV Electric Vehicle Charging Point Grants
Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS): A government grant of up to £350 off the cost of purchasing and installing
a home charge point is available to owners of old and new electric and hybrid vehicles in the UK.
Homeowners could therefore see most of the purchase and installation costs of an EV home charging point returned to them.
You can claim for one charge point per eligible vehicle, up to two charging points per household.
Electric Vehicle Workplace Charging Scheme Grant (WCS): Allows any UK business, charity or public authority up to £350 off
the cost of purchasing & installing workplace charging points, up to a maximum of 40 sockets. A saving of up to £14,000.
Businesses considering applying for the WCS grant are not required to have a fleet of electric vehicles,
but will need to present a business need for EV charge points.

If you are looking to install an electric vehicle charging point for your home or workplace, you should first establish whether the EVHS grant is applicable to your new application and if Forty4 Electrical can apply for the OLEV EVHS grant of up to £350 per charge point on your, the customers behalf.
On arrival within your given time slot, our engineer will confirm the position as to where the EV charging unit will be located. This location should match the position identified in the quotation process. We will complete a final safety check of your existing electrics before starting work and if no additional works are required, we will start the installation of your new EV charging unit(s). During the installation process, we will need to isolate the mains power to install and test your new EV circuit.
Our NICEIC approved electrical engineer will commission and test your new EV charging unit and will give you a demonstration. An NICEIC Electrical Installation Certificate will be issued within 5 days of the installation.
Our quotation is based on the information supplied by the customer at the initial contact stage and is valid for 30 days. We will proceed with the installation once you have electronically accepted our quotation. Read more
